Writer/Director Jeff Woods has been an active member of the independent film community in New York for over ten years. His roots at Film/Video Arts, the home base of New York’s independent film scene, allowed him to work and collaborate with other aspiring indie filmmakers like Dylan Kidd (Roger Dodger) and Michael Tierno (Auditions). Inspired by the gritty, character-driven style of John Cassevettes, Jeff believes that some of the most interesting stories can start from a simple human flaw. He has written and directed numerous films including Dustin's Song, The Caretaker, Sessions, and Flowers his first feature film that was produced by OnleLight Productions. His award-winning films have appeared at Anthology Film Archives, Two Boots Pioneer Theater, and Cinema Classics.
